Verlain

We had a perfect stay at Hotel Verlain. We weren’t sure what to expect as we felt the price was very budget and we were worried this would be reflected in the quality but the hotel was excellent. Very clean and comfortable with excellent en-suite facilities and air-conditioning. The location is fabulous and you couldn’t fault the staff. The 11th arrondissement is an ideal place to be and the hotel is minutes away from lovely bars, restaurants, supermarkets and excellent bakeries. It’s also very well connected with excellent public transport links. There’s a great rum bar directly opposite the hotel too (30 seconds). We had worried about being bothered by noise as it’s a lively area but had no issues whatsoever and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you so much!

Great location right across road from metro. Easy access to the big attractions. I travelled with my 11yo daughter and it was great. Plenty of good food options and a minimart in the neighbourhood. The property is beautiful. Everything we needed, nothing we didn’t. Very comfortable beds and a surprisingly quiet stay. Love the window that opens out above the street, just so pretty. Air con, great bathroom, super clean. We were very happy here. Staff very helpful and didn’t mind speaking English at all. Safe and fridge in room.

Both the staff at the reception and the staff in charge of cleaning were friendly and helpful. We had a bit of misunderstanding the first time we left the "please clean the room" sign on the door and the staff was fast and efficient at managing the problem, I'm very thankful. The position is pretty good, metro 3 is super close and there are a lot of restaurants and stores nearby.

Breakfast was very good, very fresh. The location of the hotel was great with bars and restaurants very close by. The Metro was a short walk away, which was great for getting to the main attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the hotel and we will be back.

The location was a pleasant area of Paris with plenty of shops and bars nearby. The room was compact but very clean and the bed comfy and large and we had a view out over the street. Very appreciative of the elevator with our heavy luggage! The breakfast was extra but worth it. Cereals, fruit, toast, croissants, h-b eggs, juice and tea and coffee available til mid-morning so no need to rush. Staff were very friendly and also spoke English. They even went out of their way to assist us in negotiating with a difficult Uber driver when I was trying to get my mobile phone back which I had accidentally left in his vehicle. I was most appreciative of their efforts which I cant imagine many small hotels would do.
